In-Class:
  • Journal: We labeled similes, metaphors, and personification on poems written by our peers (see me for the paper).
  • We learned about parallelism and repetition, two poetic devices.
  • We read the poem, "Hatred" from the collections book.
  • Together with a group, we analyzed, "Hatred" and turned in a worksheet on it.
