In-Class:

• Journal: Write your thoughts about gun control. Then, after our class discussion, write new insights you gained.
• We put a sticky note with our name on it on the board on which side we fall when it comes to the issue of gun control.
• We had a class discussion. Everyone had three pieces of paper with their names on them. When they spoke, they turned in one of their papers. To get full credit, everyone had to turn in at least two papers (participate twice).
• We read the last three pages of, "Blocking the Transmission of Violence" as a class.
• Students got in groups and wrote down similarities between Hamlet and "Blocking the Transmission of Violence."

Homework:

• None
• All late work will be reduced 10% through the end of this week. Next week, the last week of the term, any late work will only receive half credit.
